2021 in music - winter part

As every year, at the end of this one we collect the new music that was interesting to us. This time we will divide it into four parts, according to the seasons. We start with the first part - the winter of 2021, where completely in the spirit of our motto that music is a ball and a journey, we walk from New York to Olinda in Brazil, through Chania, Manchester, Oslo, Paris and St. Petersburg.
The beginning is for New York musicians Jason Lindner and Nate Wood and the play "Legator".
January continued with music and violin by Maria Manousaki in the play SOLE VOYAGE. Maria's company is made by well-known names such as Shai Maestro on piano and Petros Klampanis on bass.
Among them are musicians recording for the Manchester label "Gondwana Records", today in the person of its founder Matthew Halsall and a play from his latest project.
We move a little east - to Oslo. The label of one of our favorite musicians Bugge Wesseltoft is also behind the second album of the trio "Rymden", which in addition to Bugge Wesseltoft on keyboards, includes Dan Berglund on bass and Magnus Öström on drums.
We continue with the music of the French rebel and genre breaker - saxophone and pedal experimenter Guillaume Perret.
Winter is slowly receding and we are crossing the ocean to move to Brazil with the music of boys from the Academia da Berlinda.
Last but not least, our winter session is closed by the musicians from the revived group KINO, who play songs of the group with original phonograms of the voice of Viktor Tsoi. Cool, concise and modern - according to the musicians themselves.
Next week we continue with the interesting new projects that appeared in the spring months of 2021.
