An expectedly good combination of European jazz virtuosos’ 

The collaboration in one project of names such as Vincent Peirani (acordeon), Emile Parisien (soprano saxophone), Michael Wollny (piano) and Andreas Schaerer (vocals), can bring a bit of confusion at first. What are three well known instrumentalists, all at the peak of their careers, doing in the company of Swiss vocalist and beatboxer  Andreas Schaerer!
The most recent project Out of Land, issued on ACT, will show that they are doing us all a favour by combining resources, skills and inspiration in this unexpected musical journey. An incredibly modern album, falling into the category of new music, one that blurs the lines between different genres. 
An interesting detail – the album was recorded live in B flat jazz club in Bern. When such high-class musicians create such a surprising, refreshing and different kind of music, all that’s left for the audience is to enjoy it.
