Cookin’ On 3 Burners

 

We enter the first real spring month with fresh music from Australian trio Cookin' On 3 Burners. The Melbourne trio was formed in 1997 and features Dan West - guitar, Jake Mason - Hammond organ and Ivan Khatchoyan - drums.

With a respect for the vintage sound and beauty of the organ as an instrument, the Melbourne boys experiment with old and new sounds. They are reviving the joy of music and as they often say - playing the future of music from yesterday. Timeless and undying. This is just the foundation. On top of it, the musicians build and mix ideas and rhythms from around the world, and the result of their work will make you dance.
