In the world of Hania Rani

Today we look at a lesser known name from the catalog of the Manchester label Gondwana Records - that of the young Polish pianist Hania Rani.
We are immersed in her fairytale world, a mixture of classical music and jazz, electronics and even the Beatles.
Growing up in Gdansk, Rani has been involved in classical music since she was a child, to which she later added modern genres. The musician then continued her education in Berlin and currently lives divided between the two cities.
Her debut album "Esja", released in 2019, includes piano compositions and immediately attracts the attention of critics and audiences.
In 2020, Hania Rani's second album "Home" was released, in which she added electronic sounds, voice, and in some songs - drums and bass.
In March this year she was invited to record a live session on Polish radio with songs from her two albums, part of which is the mini-concert we are listening to today. A recording that shows us how the music of the future is created. Hania Rani live
