Spring is upon us

A certain state of mind, that gets us thinking about summer. The constant rain makes everything grow faster and bigger.
The days get longer, and all we want to do is be outside. Digging in the ground brings pure joy, and physical labour makes you happy.
Because we all know, that summer is coming. The time when you can dig your toes into the sand – just like that, because you’re happy and enjoying the moment.
But spring is hard work and effort – all in the name of summer. Because there’s no summer without spring. Spring is a challenge.
Spring is planting 60 flower pots every year, and the older people can’t wait to get into nature – that’s just the climate zone we live in.
Spring is our currently pregnant wild cat, who’s carrying the next generation and we have no idea what to expect come summer.
Spring makes us peek into the bushes in search of new blossoming bulbs.
And, of course, spring is patience.
Spring is watching the world change every day, and feel joy if you’re a part of that cycle of change.
There is no other time when you’re anxious and in a rush, but still have to wait it out in order for the change to come.
Spring is everywhere around us and it is different – sometimes it comes in February, sometimes it comes in May.
Spring is an oxymoron – dynamic patience.
Spring, she’s coming. And we are patiently awaiting with Magda Giannikou’s Aurora, where after a long, cold winter – spring has sprung.
