What to expect from the upcoming autumn 2018 season

Just like every other autumn, the Balkans offer three incredible festivals, in three consecutive weeks, stretching between the middle of October and the beginning of November.
Skopje Jazz Festival will take place between the 18th and the 21st of October. On opening day, we can hear David Murray with his newly released album Blues for Memo. Keep an eye out for the rest of the line-up and take a look at the page of the festival here:

Coming right after is the 22nd edition of the Sarajevo Jazz Festival, which will take place between the 2nd and the 4th of November. Once again, it will be a feast for all your senses – 2 days with the music and musicians of John Zorn. The confirmed headliners and the line-up for each day can be found on the page of the festival.
Apart from the festivals, here are a couple of other events that caught our eye:
You can hear a lot of good things at Control club in Bucharest this autumn, one of them being the Mark Guiliana jazz quartet on October 15th, followed by Marc Ribot with Ceramic dog on December 3rd.
