Music Around – online

Until before this fall at that time, we were still with backpacks ready for walks around the festivals. We're not giving up on the idea - we're just doing it online this year. Snarky Puppy in Athens - Canceled

Two reasons if you are in Athens on 7th and 8th of April to visit Gazarte. Snarky Puppy - old favourites of ours - fill out stadiums, but it is very rare that we get to hear them in a club setting. The second reason is the involvement of Banda Magda - a band full of life and light, that according to America based Greek performer, director, screenwriter, musician - and with one word - artist Magda Giannikou gives the world the light that is missing from our days.

Lale Plak first opened its doors in 1954. It was an institution that closed its doors last year. The past 15 years have been full of meetings with people from Lale Plak. We exchanged ideas, we learned, we got to know the new things. At each event we would meet we would discuss musical news. We learned a lot. We met a lot of soul mates.

New names - Shake Stew and Adam Ben Ezra

This week during the 23rd edition of the Sarajevo jazz festival, we listen to and talk about two phenomenon’s from the past couple of years, also taking part in this year’s edition of the festival – Shake Stew and Adam Ben Ezra.
