Mark Giuliana plus three other amazing musicians: Ben Williams on bass, Aaron Parks on piano and Ambrose Akinmusire on the trumpet. All of them together in Dhafer Youssef’s new album Diwan of Beauty and Odd,  issued on the independent label “OKeh”. 

“Loneliness Road” - an album by Jamie Saft (Rare Noise Records), accompanied by Steve Swallow and Bobby Previte (and a guest appearance by Iggy Pop). Back in 2014, with the first album of the New Standard trio, this formation went beyond the ordinary piano trio. 

The year starts off with two very interesting projects that are totally different from one another.  The first one is the new, fourth album of GoGo Penguin “A Humdrum Star” – their second album under the Blue Note label.. The second interesting project is David Murray’s “Blues for Memo”, featuring Saul Williams.

About two New York projects, where well known musicians experiment with the unlikely. Mark Guiliana on drums and Jason Lindner on keys try out new things. 

The premiere of an entirely new project (5 hour long, of course). We’re already traveling with companions. We make a pit stop in Belgrade for a dose of the local spirit and we continue to Sarajevo.
